Hi, I’m Natalie, the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Third Wave Legal. I help businesses and entrepreneurs navigate the legal landscape with clear, structured support and personalised advice for every stage of their journey.

My approach isn't just a philosophy; it's shaped by seeing the legal world from both sides. As a former partner of a boutique Melbourne law firm, I saw the frustrations of the traditional legal services model firsthand - the rigid billing practices, the inefficiencies, and how clients could feel disconnected in the process.

But it was through starting my own consumer products businesses that I truly cemented my vision for Third Wave Legal. I learned that founders are constantly balancing the need for robust legal protection with the need for speed, commercial pragmatism and a lawyer who understands the bigger picture.

That dual perspective is why I built Third Wave Legal to be different.

What is the 'third wave' movement?

‘Third wave’ means a challenge of tradition – a distinct shift and evolution towards a more elevated experience. We've seen it in cultural and social movements such as feminism, and even in the world of coffee. Now, it's time for legal services to evolve too.

As traditional law firms struggle to adapt to the changing needs of their clients, I’ve long believed that the legal industry is ready for its own ‘third wave’.

Adopting a ‘third wave’ approach to the practice of law, I offer a shift away from the impersonal, 'one-size-fits-all' legal services model, replacing bureaucracy and billable hours with a more human, agile and transparent approach.
